My baby girl, Madilyn inspired Snuggle-Bugs and Bows. I have two boys, then her. She is turning one this next week and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE having a girl. I LOVE my boys also...but creating girly items is SO fun!

My love of sewing and the need to create a home business so I could stay home while my kids are young inspired my line of eco-friendly children's gear.

My inspiration was originally from my little sister. When she was 3, my mom tried to find her a birthday dress but everything in the store was so tight, that she was crying because she did not feel pretty. This was not a tantrum, it was real sadness. One dress squeezed her poor little chubby arms so tightly, that I took off that dress and just rushed her out of the store and promised her that I would find her a beautiful and perfect dress just for her. So I went to the fabric store and stayed up all night sewing her birthday dress. It fit perfectly and she was so happy. Never mind that she was so comfortable that she jumped in a huge mud puddle and ruined the dress forever, she felt pretty. Designing little girls clothing was my dream career ever since that day. Now I run www.Miacarina.com and LOVE it!

I saw some home made rabits made out of old quilts and fabrics and I decided to try it out using an old quilt of my grandmothers. It turned out very well and now I can make rabits out of almost any fabric.
