A lucky winner will be drawn from all seven finalists on Sunday night!

Time to spruce up the nursery. Lil' Bit will be here in less than 8 weeks and we've got lots to accomplish before then! We thought it would be fun to let you in on a chance to
Win a Nursery Makeover of your own!
(Or room makeover if your kids are older than nursery age!)

Each day for the next 7 days, you will have daily opportunities to enter to win your own
Room Makeover!
Each day a different business will be featured for a different element they add to the makeover.

Bedding Basics
Bedding Embellishments
Nursery Organization
Wall Decor
Nursery Accessories
Layette
Amenities

Each of the 7 features will stay open for entries for 48 hours only.
(So check back DAILY to not miss one!!!)
A finalist will be drawn randomly at the close of each 48 hour increment for each featured boutique.

There will be 7 finalist at the end of the week.
At the end of the Makeover on Saturday April 2nd, we will draw 1 winner from our 7 finalist.

Winner will receive $50 Gift Certificates from each of the 7 boutiques we've featured ($350 value) so they can create their own MAKEOVER!

Shall we get started.......?

Here's our bare-bones nursery.
C took an extremely unattractive dark wood paneled room and put up dry wall and trim. (He's quite the handy-man!) Ive been madly painting for 2 weeks (not sure how I stretched a small room into such a big project, but....its done!)
The valances were a Pier 1 $3.50/each steal that my mother picked up for me. The bassinet is an antique that belonged to a dear elderly friend passed down to me when the twins were born. And the rocking chair was a gift from my daddy when I was pregnant with Evie. He and I found it at a garage sale and I bemoaned the fact that Id never had a rocker to rock my babies. Daddy took the ugly dark-stained wood chair, repaired it, stripped and sanded it and painted it for me!

The crib that we've had since the twins were babies desperately needed a fresh coat of paint. And then it was time for the magic to begin...

DAY 1 of our Nursery Makeover is hosted by:
We're delighted to showcase their Bedding Basics as the first essential element to our Nursery Makeover. Look at their adorable addition to our sparse space...
I absolutely love the bedding set which includes:
Crib Skirt
Fitted Minky Crib Sheet
and
Minky Backed Baby Blanket
I must say Im impressed! I found the bedding set that I wanted at an upscale boutique and priced exorbitantly out of a reasonable range. I mean really, who can spend $700 on a crib set? I sent Susie Cues a picture of what I had in mind and amazingly, they pulled it off perfectly. Its precisely what Ive dreamed of laying my little Gabriella in! And if you're shopping crib sets, this is your one-stop-shopping. Add changing pad covers, fitted crib sheets, bumpers or various styles for crib skirts to your custom order at Susie Cues.

The minky bedding is absolute luxury. Buttery soft. Cozy and comforting. I thing it adds a perfectly posh perk to the precious Bella/Cozy print. Im quite certain this beautiful blankie will be the blanket. You know. The one she will still be toting around 6 years from now, tattered and loved!
You'll be amazed by the possibilities when you shop Susie Cues for all your bedding basics! All orders are customized to your liking which means essentially, you get to be the designer without doing all the work.

Choose from dozens of fabric swatches. Playful patterns. Fabulous florals. Mod dots. Preppy paisleys. And of course, marvelous minkys. Then let Susie Cues set to work to create something truly special for your nursery and little one. Lovin' this little Moses basket all decked out in Susie Cues splendor.
So here is your first of 7 chances to win a Nursery Makeover. After 48 hours, Ill announce a finalist. There will be 7 total finalist at the end of the Makeover and one will be drawn as the Nursery Makeover Winner!! Check back daily for a new addition to our makeover and another chance at being a finalist and winning a room makeover for your little girl....or guy...

I think I should get this giveaway because:
Here's the story, I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts, then went in for a diagnostic laparoscopy and then was diagnosed with Endometriosis. After being diagnosed I was told I needed to try to get pregnant asap because if I don't, I may never be able to have children of my own. So I immediately went off my birth control, and got pregnant right away. With a baby on the way, I wanted to make a legal commitment to my (new!) husband. I planned our whole wedding in less than two months (One of which was February, and that's a short month!) and married the love of my life on March 5, 2011. Recovering financially from the wedding that we had on such short notice with NO savings for it, we now are faced with many financial burdens such as the fact I just lost my job a week ago, we now have to buy a bunch of stuff for the baby on the way, still paying off the wedding, and we are looking to do cord blood banking for our child, as my sister had Hodgkin's Disease twice and needed blood. My parents weren't given the opportunity to do cord blood banking as it was not heard of then. I luckily was her perfect match. So I got to save my sisters life. Our baby is at a higher risk of needed cord blood and it would absolutely kill us if we were faced with the situation that the child needed it, but we couldn't do it because it was that, or buy bedding for the crib, the crib, stroller, car seat, etc.
I think I should get this giveaway because we want to make sure we can do everything for this child to set them up for life. It breaks my heart knowing that we may not be able to do cord blood banking because we had to buy various other baby items.
Thanks for your time for reading my entry, much love.

I would love to win a nursery makeover for my baby girl. At three weeks old we were separated at different hospitals because we some how got salmonila. My baby spent a month in the hospital with bacterial spinal meningitis from the salmonila. We recently moved and her nursery has nothing! Her hospital room was cuter then her own nursery. I hope we win because this baby girl deserves the best!

I could really use a nursery makeover. We intended to move to a bigger house before having a baby, but my husband convinced me we could make it work. I now have to convert our office/fitness center/storage room to an adorable nursery and the task seems daunting.

I would also love to win gift certificates to make my 16M old daughter's room pretty! We're about to move into our first house at which time she will have her own room for the first time. This is the perfect time to come across an awesome giveaway like this one! We might even use them on a new bundle should we be so lucky!

I would love to have new items to create either a big boy room for Landon in the next several months, or a new nursery if the Lord chooses to give us another sweet baby.

I would love to give my now 3 year old a brand new room! Since we have been apartment dwellers since her birth, until just recently, it saddens me that she never got the nursery of my dreams! Now, hoping for a new bebe, that one will hopefully get more than this one did!
