My linen shower just before I got married may have been responsible for my now out-of-control obsession with monograms.  I remember opening a box with 6!! complete sets of bath-sheet sized white towels all embroidered with a beautiful "S" for my new last name.  

I was infatuated.  

I remember feeling like I was playing house in our first apartment.  We were like every newlywed couple.  Living on a shoe string.  Renting an apartment with stained carpet and on a tight budget.  But, we were blissfully in love.  And I had awesome towels!!  And I envisioned that I would always be that amazing housewife with homemade bread in the breadmaker and plush "His" and "Hers" matching towels hanging "just so" in the bathroom.

Fast-forward through a decade of 6 moves and 6 babies.  I dont know what big black hole swallowed up my pristine white towels with the sea blue "S", but they are no where to be found.  Most days, I cant even find a hand towel, and "matching sets" are a thing of the past.

Our eleventh anniversary seemed like good enough cause to indulge just a bit and spring for a new set of monogrammed bath towels.  After all, no couples bathroom is complete without “His” and “Hers” towels, right?

Thanks to Leilas Loft and a little inspiration from Pinterest, I have an adorable little “accessory station” in my bathroom.

I asked Leilas Loft to design a “damask” knobs for my bathroom and just look at what she came up with.  Is she talented or what?  She made cutsie knobs for my baby furniture and the girls room makeover last year which I adore, but I was so very pleased with this more “mature” and “sophisticated” design for our shabby chic bathroom.

My handy man hubby built a little shelving unit and affixed the knobs for hanging necklaces, scarves and accessories on.

Knobs were added to our (tiny closet) doors and cabinets to complete the look.

Im so pleased with how they turned out!  Thank you Leilas Loft!  These hand painted beauties and a perfect accessory to our evolving bathroom!
